QuestionAnsweredSnax Variant Discounts

amount off vs percentage off — which works better for variant pricing?

building a bundle where if you buy 3 items you get 5 off total. debating whether to use amount off or percentage and then do the math. is there a "bundle" type rule i am missing or do i need to set it up manually with conditions? growth plan btw

went with percentage off — makes way more sense for our variant range. one rule, all variants covered, savings feel fair across sizes. thanks both.

for variant pricing i go with percentage off almost always. if you have a large and a small variant at different price points, percentage keeps the discount proportional. amount off means the cheaper variant gets a bigger relative discount which can look weird.

i sell apparel with lots of size/color variants and percentage off is much easier to manage. one rule covers all variants and the saving scales naturally with the price. amount off gets complicated when your variants have big price differences.
