Promo codes
How to redeem a promo code for an extended trial or free access.
Promo codes can grant extended free trials or fully free access on a time-bounded or permanent basis. Codes are issued individually — they don't appear in the App Store listing.
How to redeem
- Open the Billing page in the app
- Find the Discount code input near the top of the page
- Enter the code you were given (case-insensitive)
- Click Apply
If the code is valid, you'll see a confirmation banner. The benefit applies immediately.
Code types
Codes come in two forms:

| Extended trial | Adds N days of free trial on top of the standard 7 |
| Free access | Grants free Growth-tier access for either a fixed period or permanently |
The exact terms depend on the specific code you were issued.
Examples
Founding-user code (180-day free Growth)
If you were given a founding-user code, redeeming it grants you free Growth access for 6 months from the moment of redemption. After 180 days, the override expires and you'll be prompted to subscribe.
Permanent free access code
Reserved for partners and special arrangements. Grants Growth access indefinitely.
After a code expires
When a time-bounded code reaches its expiry date:
- Your discount rules stop applying at checkout
- The app still shows your saved rules — they're inactive but preserved
- You'll see a prompt to subscribe to a paid plan
To keep the app running, subscribe to Starter or Growth at that point.
Code troubleshooting
- "Invalid discount code" — the code wasn't recognized. Double-check spelling. Codes are case-insensitive but otherwise must match exactly.
- Code accepted but no Growth access — usually a momentary glitch. Refresh the page and check the Billing page; the "Free Access Active" badge should be visible.
- Code expired — single-use codes can only be redeemed once per store. If you redeemed it on a different store previously, it won't work on this one.
