Filter by collection

The Collection condition matches variants whose parent product belongs to one or more Shopify collections.

How it works

Click Add condition → Collection in the rule builder. Then:

1. Select an operator: is, is not, or is one of
2. Pick collections from your store

The rule will match every variant of every product in those collections.

Operators

Operator	What it matches
is	Variants whose product is in the selected collection
is not	Variants whose product is not in the selected collection
is one of	Variants whose product is in any of the selected collections
is none of	Variants whose product is not in any of the selected collections

Examples

Discount everything in a single collection

Collection is "Summer 2026"

Discount everything except clearance items

Collection is not "Clearance"

Discount across multiple seasonal collections

Collection is one of "Spring 2026", "Summer 2026", "Fall 2026"

Combining with other conditions

Use AND logic to narrow down. Example: discount only sale items in a specific collection:

Collection is "Summer 2026" AND Sale status is "on sale"

Notes

• Both manual and automated (smart) collections are supported.
• Products in multiple collections will match if any of them matches your condition.
• Collection membership is read live from Shopify; products added or removed from a collection are picked up the next time the rule runs.
