Export matched variants to CSV (Growth)
Download a CSV of every variant a rule currently matches.

Export the full list of variants a rule matches to a CSV file. Useful for inventory audits, reporting, or sharing the list with team members who don't have app access.
How to export
Open the rule from the Rules list. On the rule detail page, click Export matched variants. A CSV file downloads with one row per matched variant.
What's in the CSV
Each row includes:
- Product title
- Variant title (option values, e.g. "Red / XL")
- SKU
- Price
- Compare-at price
- Inventory quantity
- Vendor
- Product type
- Tags (comma-separated)
- Product handle (URL slug)
- Variant ID (Shopify's internal identifier)
- Product ID (Shopify's internal identifier)
Use cases
Audit before activating a rule
Before activating a high-stakes rule (e.g. a sitewide promo), export the matched variants and have someone review the CSV. Catch unexpected matches before customers see the discount.
Inventory or finance reporting
Share the matched-variant list with your finance team to forecast revenue impact, or with your inventory team to confirm stock can support the promotion.
Migration to another tool
Need to move the same discount logic to a different system (e.g. ERP)? Export the variants and import them as a static list elsewhere.
Export reflects current state
The CSV is generated at the moment you export — it reflects which variants currently match the rule's conditions. If your catalog changes (new products, new tags, etc.), re-export to get an updated list.
Why this requires Growth
Export is a power-user feature for merchants running larger or more complex programs where audit, reporting, and team sharing matter. Available on the Growth plan. See Plans.
