Feature requests
How to suggest something new and how we prioritize.
Feature requests genuinely shape what we build. We're a small team and most of what's planned next came from merchant suggestions.
How to submit
Use the Contact support modal inside the app and pick Feature request as the topic.
What helps the request land
Tell us:
- The scenario — the merchandising goal you're trying to achieve, in your words
- What you tried — which existing features you used and why they fell short
- Workaround — what you're doing today as a stopgap (manual selection, separate tools, etc.)
- Urgency — is this blocking a launch, or a "would be nice"?
The scenario matters more than a specific implementation. "I need a discount that applies only to repeat customers" is more useful than "please add an is repeat customer operator" — it lets us think about the best way to support the goal, which might be a feature you didn't know to ask for.
How we prioritize
Roughly in this order:
- Bugs and regressions — always first
- Feature requests blocking active customers — paid, named merchant blocked from a real campaign
- Feature requests with multiple independent merchants asking — signal of real demand
- Foundational improvements — performance, reliability, polish
- Single-merchant niche requests — usually batched up over time
We don't do public roadmap voting yet. We do try to respond to every request individually with our take.
When a request might not land
We're upfront about no's. Common reasons:
- The feature would break Shopify's discount system invariants (e.g. exceeding the 100-line limit)
- The scope is way out of category (e.g. building a full email marketing tool)
- We've evaluated it and decided it adds more complexity than value for most merchants
We'll usually tell you why and suggest an alternative if there is one.
Roadmap themes (rough)
We don't promise dates, but the broad areas we're investing in:
- Better preview tools (visual filtering, bulk approve)
- More condition types (vendor combinations, customer history)
- Reporting and analytics on discount performance
- Multi-currency-aware price conditions
- Bulk code generation for affiliate/influencer campaigns
